Craft Fair!

Today my mom and I woke up and arrived at the craft show spot around 8am. I had such an amazing day!
I was selling my jewelry and my mom was selling note cards of my Dad's photography.
It was a great first experience. I even sold some things (mostly to family and friends who stopped by, but that totally counts :P). I got a lot of wonderful compliments from other crafters which made me feel really good too!
The sun was at our back when I was taking these pictures so they aren't great...Those triangle display were made of wood at my parents work, and I basically just wrapped them in white paper and put tacks in the back to hold the chain, then draped the necklaces over the front.
Here is another triangle display, my business cards, and an aqua water jug I used to display a necklace.
A close up of my awesome business cards, they look blue here but they are really a lavender/periwinkle color.
You can sort of see one of my earring displays, a frame with a screen as the background. And we had a bowl candy of course.

I used a big glass bowl for some of my earrings.
This one lady came by twice to try and buy the jug itself, ha.

Here's the whole set up (with my aunt and dad in the background). You can see my little dress form up on the table too! She was wearing a necklace, and I meant to make a little sign around her waist saying "1andtwenty" but it got late last night, and I was sleepy.
And here are some of my parents beautiful note cards!
I'm including this picture because I look so angelic! haha I feel like I was smiling all day. There is nothing better than getting to show off what you love to do :)

Sunday Afternoon

I planned on having a relaxing Sunday of nothingness, but that has not happened yet! I realized I had tonnssss of homework to get done, along with a lot of jewelry making and preparing for the craft show next weekend! On top of it all, I can't seem to find my camera, which is making me nervous.

On the plus side there is a Real Housewives of New Jersey marathon on to accompany me,
AND a wonderful giveaway from Ashley at Everyday Ashley to check out! It is filled with tons of awesome fall goodies! :)

I know I haven't updated lately!
But when I find my camera I hope to share my craft fair experiences!

Craft Fair Display-spiration

My first craft fair is approaching, and I'm starting to realize I have a lot to figure out and get together to create a beautiful display and sell all my jewelry! :P
Here are some pictures of jewelry displays that are inspiring me right now (click the photo for a link to its source)

Love this! I made my own personal earring display out of an old frame and window screen I had out my house. Its similar to this, I think I'll use it, and maybe make another larger one like this with felt in the back for necklaces! Oh, and have an easel in the back!

This is genius. I want to make something like this!

These ideas are mostly for me; I am just excited to plan it out!

1. Thank the person who gave you the award.
I am so excited to have gotten an award! I'm so new to this, so its pretty cool. Both Ashley of Everyday Ashley and Amanda of Amanda's World Nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award; so thanks ladies!

2. Share 7 things about yourself.
1. I really love t.v. I have watched so many seasons of different series...some of my favorites include The Office, True Blood, Freaks and Geeks, United States of Tara, and Game of Thrones.
2. I fantasize about yarn
3. In the 8th grade I was babysitting two little boys in my neighborhood. The pizza man came to deliver dinner and his car was stolen in the driveway!
4. My first plane trip was two summers ago. I flew to Canada by myself to spend 10 amazing days in Quebec with my best friend. We traveled around the city, cooked, danced, saw a concert, and visited the family farm a few hours out of the city. I got to meet some of her extended family and they were all lovely. It was such a special trip. I worked all summer to save up for it, and it was seriously one of the best experiences of my life. It makes me want to travel again, so muchhh.
5. Today, I had left over macaroni and cheese for breakfast, coffee for lunch, just got home and ate like 4 rice cakes....real healthy
6. I am getting a degree in elementary education, but I hope to one day teach middle or high school English as well!
7. I've never been into cooking, but my boyfriend is an awesome chef. After we started dating we began to make a lot of food together. I've improved a lot in the past year. Its a good way for us to spend time together, and it helps when your product is delicious

Pinteresting...

I just realized it's Wednesday again! I'll be linking up at The Vintage Apple again for:

 Knitted lace legwarmer pattern
 Barcelona, Spain
I love coats. It might be one of my favorite clothing items.
 Cookie dough truffles
Pretty rings. I always wore rings in high school, but I don't anymore. I want to start again.
